Geneviève Zubrzycki
Geneviève Zubrzycki is Professor of Sociology, Faculty Associate of the Frankel Center for Judaic Studies, and Director of the Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia at the University of Michigan. She’s the award-winning author of The Crosses of Auschwitz: Nationalism and Religion in Post-Communist Poland; Beheading the Saint: Nationalism, Religion, and Secularism in Quebec; and Resurrecting the Jew: Nationalism, Philosemitism, and Poland’s Jewish Revival. She has also edited National Matters: Materiality, Culture, and Nationalism and is coeditor of the journal Comparative Studies in Society and History.
