Anthony Petro is an associate professor of religion and of women’s, gender, and sexuality studies at Boston University and a 2019-2020 member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, NJ. His teaching and research interests include religion and culture in the United States; religion, medicine, and public health; and gender and sexuality studies. His first book, After the Wrath of God: AIDS, Sexuality, and American Religion was published by Oxford University Press in 2015.
