Susanna De Stradis

Susanna De Stradis is a PhD candidate in History at the University of Notre Dame. She holds a BA and a MA from the University of Pisa, Italy and is a graduate of the Scuola Normale Superiore. Her research focuses on twentieth-century American Catholicism and how it both reflected and shaped broader developments in the global Catholic Church. She is particularly interested in both legal and historical questions surrounding how the Church relates to modern liberal democracy.
