Anna Sun is Associate Professor of Sociology and Asian Studies at Kenyon College, where she teaches sociology of religion, sociology of knowledge, and sociology of culture. She was part of the seminar on “Secularisms” when she was a member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton in 2010-11. Her recent book is Confucianism as a World Religion: Contested Histories and Contemporary Realities (Princeton: Princeton University Press, 2013).
