Corwin Smidt

Corwin Smidt is Paul B. Henry Professor of Political Science and Director of the Henry Institute for the Study of Christianity and Politics at Calvin College. He is co-author of Evangelicalism: The Next Generation (Baker, 2002). His most recently completed volumes are Pews, Prayers, and Participation: The Role of Religion in Fostering Civic Responsibility (Georgetown University Press, 2008) and his co-edited volume The Oxford Handbook on Religion and American Politics (Oxford University Press, forthcoming).
