Samera Esmeir

Samera Esmeir teaches in the Department of Rhetoric at University of California, Berkeley. She is the author of Juridical Humanity: A Colonial History (Stanford University Press, 2012), and is currently working on a book on the rise of the international and its reconfiguration of political dissent.
