Erin Runions
Erin Runions is Professor and Chair in the Department of Religious Studies at Pomona College. She explores how biblical teaching and citation shapes political subjectivity, gender, sexuality, US national sovereignty, and biopolitics. Her most recent book is The Babylon Complex: Theopolitical Fantasies of War, Sex and Sovereignty (Fordham, 2014). She is currently writing a book on the influence of biblical interpretation on the prison industrial complex.
