Clifford Bob
Clifford Bob is Professor of Political Science at Duquesne University. His research focuses on globalization, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), ethnic conflict, and human rights. Dr. Bob is the author of The Marketing of Rebellion: Insurgents, Media, and International Activism (Cambridge University Press, 2005), which won several prizes, including the 2007 International Studies Association's Best Book Award. He is also the editor of The International Struggle for New Human Rights (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2009). Bob is currently researching a book on transnational activism by conservative NGOs.
