The Centre for Religion and Contemporary Society at the University of Kent in the UK recently launched an online training resource on research methods in the study of religion:

Designed in conjunction with leading researchers in the study of religion, this site aims to provide resources to support methodological training in this field.

The resource covers qualitative, quantitative and comparative approaches as well as a number of conceptual issues, including how to understand “religion” in relation to one’s research.
