J. Aaron Simmons is an associate professor of philosophy at Furman University. Specializing in philosophy of religion and political philosophy, Simmons is the author of God and the Other (Indiana UP, 2011), co-author of The New Phenomenology (Bloomsbury, 2013), and co-editor of numerous other books including, most recently, Phenomenology for the 21st Century (Palgrave, 2016).
