Sarah Riccardi-Swartz
Sarah Riccardi-Swartz is a sociocultural anthropologist, scholar of American religion, and documentary filmmaker. Currently, she is the postdoctoral fellow for the Luce-funded Recovering Truth project at the Center for the Study of Religion and Conflict at Arizona State University. Broadly, her research focuses on social politics, media worlds, race, and religion. Her first book, Between Heaven and Russia: Religious Conversion and Political Apostasy in Appalachia, will be published with Fordham University Press in 2022.
