Julia Mourão Permoser is Assistant Professor at the Research Platform Religion and Transformation in Contemporary European Society of the University of Vienna and member of the research group INEX: The Politics of Inclusion and Exclusion. She was Research Fellow at the Université libre de Bruxelles and Scientific Partner at the project Religion in the European Parliament as well as co-director of the project Living Rooms: The Art of Mobilizing Belonging. Recent publications include Living Rooms. Politik und Zugehörigkeit im Wiener Gemeindebau (Springer). She is currently researching on the role of faith-based organizations in European Union migration policy.
