Ellen Lewin is Professor Emerita in the departments of women’s studies and anthropology at the University of Iowa. She is the author most recently of Filled With the Spirit: Sexuality, Gender and Radical Inclusivity in a Black Pentecostal Church Coalition (University of Chicago Press, 2018).
