The Columbia University Religion Graduate Students Association is sponsoring a conference in New York City this weekend on the relationships between media, mediation, and religion. Details about the conference, “Divining the Message, Mediating the Divine,” are below:

TAYLOR, Chair of Religion at Columbia University, BRIAN LARKIN, Professor of Anthropology at Columbia University, and LYDIA LIU, Professor of Chinese and Comparative Literature at Columbia University.

Co-sponsored with the Columbia University Department of Religion, the Barnard College Department of Religion, the Institute for Religion, Culture, and Public Life, the Columbia University Graduate Student Council, the Columbia University Department of French and Romance Philology, and the Columbia University Maison Française.
