Guido Vanheeswijck
Guido Vanheeswijck is a Full Professor at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Antwerp and a part-time Professor at the Institute of Philosophy of the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium), where he teaches courses in Philosophy of Culture, Philosophy of Religion and Metaphysics. He conducts research in the fields of 20th century Metaphysics, the relation between secularization and religion and the historical foundations of European culture. He is currently preparing the Dutch translation of The Power of Religion in the Public Sphere (Klement/Pelckmans) and (together with Mathieu Marion) the edition of R. G. Collingwood's Realism and Idealism: Central Problems in Metaphysics (Oxford University Press).
