Taylor C. Nelms
Taylor C. Nelms is an anthropologist and ethnographer of money, technology, institutions, and everyday economic and political life. He is the Senior Director of Research at the Filene Research Institute, an independent, nonprofit think tank, where he oversees a diverse portfolio of original and applied research on consumer and cooperative finance. He is editor-at-large at the Journal of Cultural Economy and coeditor of Back to the '30s? Repeated Crises of Capitalism, Democracy, and Liberalism (Palgrave Macmillan, 2020) and A Cultural History of Money in the Modern Age (Bloomsbury, 2019).
