Rebecca Catto

Rebecca Catto is an assistant professor of sociology at Kent State University. Her research is qualitative in approach and framed by an overarching interest in religious-secular relations: how religious individuals and groups in Europe and North America and beyond engage across boundaries, with those of other faiths, no faith, and especially in the public realm. She has published articles on atheism, Christian mission, youth and religion, state-religion relations, and science and religion. She is currently writing up findings from the £1.9 million "Science and Religion: Exploring the Spectrum" project funded by the Templeton Religion Trust, on which she has been a co-investigator.
