Patricia Sloane-White

Patricia Sloane-White is a professor of anthropology and chair of the Department of Women and Gender Studies at the University of Delaware, USA. She has researched Islam, Muslim entrepreneurship, and corporate business in Malaysia for nearly twenty-five years and writes about the Malaysian Muslim middle class, gender, sharia, zakat, and the Muslim workplace. Her most recent book—now out in paperback—is Corporate Islam: Sharia and the Modern Workplace (Cambridge University Press).
