Naveeda Khan is associate professor of anthropology at Johns Hopkins University. She is the author of Muslim Becoming: Aspiration and Skepticism in Pakistan (2012) and the editor of Beyond Crisis: Reevaluating Pakistan (2010). She has also edited several special issues of journals, notably, Anthropological Theory and Contributions to Indian Sociology. She is currently working on several book projects ranging from riverine lives in Bangladesh to global climate change negotiations.
