Liv Nilsson Stutz

Liv Nilsson Stutz is a professor of Archaeology at Linnaeus University in Sweden and a member of LNUC Concurrences in Colonial and Postcolonial Studies. Her work draws on archaeology, cultural anthropology, and biological anthropology, and is focused on mortuary practices, ritual theory, body theory, the archaeology of the senses, and professional ethics and the handling of human remains in museums, collections, and research. She has also published extensively on inter- and transdisciplinarity and the current state of academia, and has been active in work around gender inequality in the academy. She enjoys working across disciplines, including with artists and designers.
