Mark Lilla is Professor of the Humanities at Columbia University. He previously taught at the Committee on Social Thought, University of Chicago, and New York University. His books include The Stillborn God, The Once and Future Liberal, The Shipwrecked Mind, The Reckless Mind, and G.B. Vico: The Making of an Anti-Modern.
