Kimerer LaMothe

Kimerer LaMothe is a dancer, philosopher, and scholar of religions. She is the author of six books, including Why We Dance: A Philosophy of Bodily Becoming (Columbia), and Nietzsche’s Dancers: Isadora Duncan, Martha Graham, and the Revaluation of Christian Values (Palgrave). After teaching at Brown and Harvard Universities, LaMothe moved with her partner and their five children to a farm in upstate New York. She is currently working on the book, lyrics, and music for a musical about the life of the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. For more information, please visit kimererlamothe.com.
