Justine Howe
Justine Howe is associate professor of Religious Studies at Case Western Reserve University. Her research centers on contemporary Islam with a particular ethnographic focus on American Muslim communities. Justine is the author of Suburban Islam (Oxford, 2018) and the editor of the Routledge Handbook of Islam and Gender (forthcoming 2020). She teaches courses related to Islam, American religions, and theory and method in the study of religion.
