Junaid Rana
Junaid Rana is an associate professor of Asian American studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is the author of Terrifying Muslims: Race and Labor in the South Asian Diaspora (Duke, 2011). He is the coeditor of With Stones in Our Hands: Writings on Racism, Muslims, and Empire (Minnesota, 2018). His recent essays have appeared in American Anthropologist, American Quarterly, Journal of Asian American Studies, Social Text, and South Atlantic Quarterly.
