Mark D. Jordan is the Reverend Priscilla Wood Neaves Distinguished Professor of Religion and Politics at the Danforth Center on Religion and Politics at Washington University in St. Louis. His last book, Recruiting Young Love (2011), uncovers the rhetorical patterns beneath recent American debates over Christianity and homosexuality.
