Evan Berry (PhD Religious Studies, UC Santa Barbara) is assistant professor of environmental humanities in Arizona State University’s School of Historical, Philosophical, and Religious Studies. His research examines how religious ideas and organizations are mobilized in response to climate change and other global environmental challenges. Berry is the author of Devoted to Nature: The Religious Roots of American Environmentalism (University of California Press, 2015) and serves as the president-elect of the International Society for the Study of Religion, Nature, and Culture.
