David Domke is a professor and acting chair for the Department of Communication at the University of Washington. He is the author of God Willing? Political Fundamentalism in the White House, the "War on Terror," and the Echoing Press (Pluto Press, 2004). His new book, The God Strategy: How Religion Became A Political Weapon in America, was coauthored with Kevin Coe of the University of Illinois and was published in January 2008 by Oxford University Press.
