Christopher White teaches and writes about religion, science, technology and spirituality in the modern United States. He has written two books on these subjects, Unsettled Minds: Psychology and the American Search for Spiritual Assurance (California: University of California Press) and Other Worlds: Spirituality and the Search for Invisible Dimensions (Harvard University Press). He teaches at Vassar College.
