Charles Taylor is Professor Emeritus at McGill University. Among his publications are Hegel (Cambridge University Press, 1975), Philosophical Papers (2 vols., Cambridge University Press, 1985), Sources of the Self (Harvard University Press, 1989), Modern Social Imaginaries (Duke University Press, 2004), and A Secular Age (Harvard University Press, 2007). Taylor is a contributor to the SSRC volume Rethinking Secularism.
