Carly Daniel-Hughes

Carly Daniel-Hughes is an associate professor of religions and cultures at Concordia University, Montreal. She is author of The Salvation of the Flesh in Tertullian of Carthage: Dressing for the Resurrection (Palgrave 2011) and co-editor of Dressing Judeans and Christians in Antiquity (Ashgate 2014) and The Bloomsbury Reader in Religion, Sexuality and Gender (Bloomsbury 2018). Her research has contributed to the study of ancient Christian constructions of sexuality, gender, and the body, the history of dress (particularly in Roman antiquity), as well as the writings of a major ancient Christian figure, Tertullian of Carthage.
