Candace Lukasik

Candace Lukasik is a sociocultural anthropologist and postdoctoral research associate at the John C. Danforth Center on Religion and Politics at Washington University in St. Louis. Her research sits at the intersection of religion, race, and migration, with a focus on Middle Eastern Christianity, U.S. geopolitics, and Muslim-Christian relations. Her scholarship has appeared in American Anthropologist, the Journal of Ecumenical Studies, and Middle East Critique, and she has published short-form essays in Anthropology News, Public Orthodoxy, and Egypt Migrations, among others.
