Ward Blanton is a Reader in Biblical Cultures and European Thought at the University of Kent. Among other publications, he is the author of Displacing Christian Origins: Philosophy, Secularity and the New Testament (U. of Chicago Press 2007) and editor, with Hent de Vries, of Paul and the Philosophers (Fordham 2012).
