Adrián Félix is an Associate Professor of Ethnic Studies at the University of California Riverside. He is the author of the award-winning book Specters of Belonging: The Political Life Cycle of Mexican Migrants (Oxford University Press 2019). His research on Mexican migration, transnationalism, citizenship, diaspora, and necropolitics has been published in leading academic journals, including American Quarterly, Latin American Research Review, and Latino Studies. His bilingual op-eds on these topics have appeared in Latino Rebels, La Opinión, and Los Angeles Times en Español.
