Stefan Timmermans

Stefan Timmermans is professor of sociology at UCLA. His research interests include medical sociology, health technologies, and death and dying. He is the author of Postmortem: Explaining Suspicious Deaths (Chicago, 2006). He is currently collaborating with Pamela J. Prickett on a book on unclaimed deaths, forthcoming from Crown.
