Emile Nakhleh

Emile Nakhleh is a former CIA Senior Intelligence Service Officer, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and author of A Necessary Engagement: Reinventing America's Relations with the Muslim World (Princeton University Press, 2009). Prior to his government service, Dr. Nakhleh was a Professor of Political Science and International Studies at Mount St. Mary’s University in Maryland, where he taught for 26 years.
