Michael Schlie works as an underwriter for a financial services firm in northern New Jersey. He writes fiction in his spare time. His current projects include "American Leviathans," a novella loosely based on the assassination of the German playwright August von Kotzebue, and "You Dumb, Beautiful Ministers," a retelling of The Book of Job.
