Wendy Doniger

Wendy Doniger is the Mircea Eliade Distinguished Service Professor of the History of Religions in the Divinity School, the Department of South Asian Languages and Civilizations, the Committee on Social Thought, and the College at the University of Chicago. She is the author, most recently, of The Hindus: An Alternative History (Penguin Press, 2009).
