Walaa Quisay
Walaa Quisay is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the School of Divinity, University of Edinburgh. Her research focuses on Muslim carceral theologies, subject formations, theodicy, and traditionalism and modernism in contemporary Islamic thought. She is the author of two books, Traditionalism in Islam in the West: Orthodoxy, Spirituality and Politics and When Only God Can See: The Faith of Muslim Political Prisoners, which she co-authored with Asim Qureshi.
