Rohit Chopra
Rohit Chopra is Associate Professor of Communication at Santa Clara University. His research centers on global media and culture, including cultural nationalism among South Asian communities online. His publications include two books and numerous shorter works on Hindu nationalism, most recently, The Virtual Hindu Rashtra: Saffron Nationalism and New Media (HarperCollins, 2019). Rohit’s current research focuses on media accounts of the 1992-93 sectarian riots in Mumbai, India.
