The SSRC is an independent, international, nonprofit organization. It fosters innovative research, nurtures new generations of social scientists, deepens how inquiry is practiced within and across disciplines, and mobilizes necessary knowledge on important public issues.
Jason Klocek is an assistant professor in the University of Nottingham’s School of Politics and International Relations, a faculty affiliate of the University of Notre Dame's Center for the Study of Religion and Society, and a senior researcher with the US Institute of Peace’s Religion and Inclusive Societies team. His research and teaching interests primarily lie at the intersection of religious violence and repression. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in the Journal of Peace Research, Journal of Conflict Resolution, Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion, the Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, and other scholarly and media outlets.
