Jaclyn L. Neo is an associate professor at the National University of Singapore Faculty of Law and the Director of the Centre for Asian Legal Studies. She writes on comparative constitutional law and religion. Her recent publications include Regulating Religion in Asia: Norms, Modes, and Challenges, and Pluralist Constitutions in Southeast Asia. Researching on Malaysian constitutional law and religion started her in academia, and is also what often keeps her between hope and despair.
