Aziz Rana

Aziz Rana is a Professor of Law and a Member of the Fields of Government, History, and Peace Studies at Cornell University. He is the author of The Two Faces of American Freedom recently out in paperback from Harvard University Press. His research and teaching center on American constitutional law and political development, with a particular focus on how shifting notions of race, citizenship, and empire have shaped legal and political identity since the founding.
