Marwa Elshakry

Marwa Elshakry is the author of Reading Darwin in Arabic and teaches the history of science and the history of the modern Middle East at Columbia University. She is currently working on a book on universal history, Orientalism, and the history of science from the nineteenth to twentieth centuries.
