David Christian

David Christian (DPhil Oxford, 1974) is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Modern History at Macquarie University. Since 2013, he has been Director of Macquarie University's Big History Institute and is co-creator of Macquarie University’s Big History School, which provides K-12 online courses in Big History. He is the author of Origin Story: A Big History of Everything (2018).
